Enjoy Freedom of Movement with Unlimited Air Supply with Direct Drive Hookah!
Prior to The Air Line's introduction of direct-drive surface supplied air, the only technology available for surface supplied air was compressor systems powered by motors through rubber drive belts and iron pulleys (not terribly efficient especially in wet, marine environments), or through direct coupled mechanisms. As opposed to The Air Line by J Sink's hookah dive equipment, the older belt driven compressors had to be run somewhat slowly to prevent slippage and belt erosion. Both older variations had to be run slower to prevent compressor damage. Slower running equated to reduced air volume. Because the compressors and motors were separate, the systems tended to be large and bulky, unlike the Air Line Hookah diving equipment. The old belt driven compressors’ iron pulleys added as much as 15 lbs. to the overall weight. Incredibly, this technology dated back to the early 1900's. The Air Line’s Hookah Direct-Drive System is just that: a dive compressor mounted directly onto a motor shaft (as opposed to two shafts connected with a coupler mechanism).
By so doing, The Air Line Hookah dive compressors can be run faster, providing higher performance without fear of overtaxing a rubber drive belt. Ah, but now find out why Air Line by J Sink.
You can purchase a surface supplied air compressor directly from The Air Line on this site, by telephone, or at a scuba dealer near you.
