So which Air Line Model is right for you?

First off, select the system that fits your needs. If you will only be diving two within a depth of 70 feet, or three to 40, the little R260-4 unit is the choice. "Little" does not mean inferior, nor does it mean you will struggle for air within these parameters; it means sized to fit the job. All Thomas Industry/Air Line compressors are commercial quality.

Secondly, sometimes though, you're not sure of what the eventual requirement will be: two divers shallow water one day, deeper, or adding more divers the next. With that in mind, we've designed a simple lever assembly for the R360XL, or R260XL, that allows you to choose between two pressure settings to coincide with the immediate need. What this will do is to evacuate unconsumed air at lower pressure for shallow water work. The compressor works less and less heat is generated.

For want of a better expression, we call it a Dial-a-Dive. (See Accessories). If you want to be completely sure, the R360XL, or the two diver package, R260XL, with Dial-a-Dive, will cover all the bases.
